Nigerians have reasons to be grateful to the Almighty God despite mirage of situations they find themselves.

The statement was contained in the sermon delivered by the Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese the Rt.Rev’d Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe during the 80th birthday anniversary of Ven.(Dr) Moses Akinyele Akinlawon at the chapel of resurrection, university of Ibadan.

The sermon was contained in the press release issued and signed by the Ibadan North Diocesan Communicator Comrade Ayoade Olugbemiga where Bishop Aladekugbe admonished the celebrant as well as the congregation to be grateful to God not minding the present situation at hand .

Drawing his message from Psalm 103 where David said, “bless the Lord, o my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy name.”

According to the cleric,we need to be grateful to God who forgiveth all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, redeemeth us from destruction, crowneth us with loving kindness and tender mercies.

If we continue to appreciate our creator, He is ready and prepared to meet us at the point of our needs as the heart of kings and rulers is in His hand, he further assured.

He charged Nigerians to remain focused on what God has done for us particularly creating us as human beings and not lesser animals or non-living things and our deplorable conditions will be improved as we give God our lifetime ,He will take care of us , he concluded.

Many dignitaries from all walks of life that grace the occasion include; Bishops, Clerics and their wives, foreign nationals, family, friends , children and other well wishers.
