LG POLLS: SENATOR AKINTUNDE’s #40M SUPPORT UNPRECEDENTED – Says Political Stakeholders

In an unprecedented and unique style that has been described as extraordinary, Dr Yunus Akintunde the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central has again surpassed expectations of Oyo State political stakeholders with the package of N40M in financial support towards the upcoming Local Government elections in Oyo State.

There was wild jubilation with ecstasy across the entire Oyo State beyond the eleven Local Government Areas within Oyo Central Senatorial District since Senator Akintunde the Chairman of Senate House Committee on Environment announced the financial and logistics support while meeting with the political stakeholders in Oyo town during the weekend.

Senator Akintunde has been widely appreciated by Party leaders and Stakeholders expressing high hopes and further assurances of a victorious outing in the elections.

Immediately after the Oyo declaration of the unprecedented financial and logistics support by Senator Yunus Akintunde, the political atmosphere towards the preparations and campaign for the elections has gained momentum at the various wards and local governments within Oyo Central Senatorial District.

Senator Akintunde while addressing the party leaders and members reassured them of the determination of the All Progressives Congress APC to surpass the expectations of the people in the fast-approaching elections as the APC is not just planning to simply participate but is poised to win across the entire State.

The several aspirants who attended the meeting and afterwards in their various domains have expressed their sincere appreciation with joy and gratitude to Senator Yunus Akintunde for his generosity, benevolence and kind disposition in his usual and unique style which has earned him uncommon admiration within Oyo State political sphere.

They promise to utilize the funds effectively and diligently to pursue the elections with strong determination and assurances of victory at the polls.

He further enjoined the electorates not to lose hope in the political system and should avoid developing apathy towards the local government election as was the situation in the past.
