Lateefah Moyosore Durosinmi Foundation, Holds 10th Edition of Awards, Grants

LATEEFAH MOYOSORE DUROSINMI FOUNDATION, ( LMDF) HOLDS 10TH EDITION OF AWARDS, GRANTS

The 10th Edition of the Annual Scholarship Awards to Students and Empowerment/ Grants to Women on Small Scale Businesses of the Lateefah Moyosore Durosinmi Foundation (LMDF) holds on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024 at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

In a statement by the Secretary of the Foundation, Dr Sururah Bello, said 48 new Scholarship Awards will go to Students including a further Scholarship support to a Tertiary Student.

Other beneficiaries include 35 Women in Small Scale Businesses who will be given cash grants and equipment to boost their business.

The beneficiaries, according to the statement, are selected from the Six South West Zone States, including Ife Central and Ife East, Local Government Areas of Osun state.

The Vice- Chancellor of Fountain University, Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim is expected to Chair the occasion while Dr. Mrs. Nimotallai M. Raji will be the Guest Speaker.

Raji will speak on the topic entitled: ” Securing the future of our Children and Youths”.

Many important Guests and Dignitaries including school children have also been invited to grace the occasion across the six South Western states.

The 2024 Awards- Grants brings the total Scholarships and Grants by the Foundation to 335 Students and 235 Women respectively.
