Ilaji Muslim Community Holds Annual Moulid Nabiyy September 15

The Annual Moulid Nabiyy celebration of the Muslim Community of the prestigious Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort will hold on September 15th, 2024, at the Ilaji International Mini Stadium, Ibadan.

The Moulid Nabiyy is a significant event in the Islamic calendar, celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). The event provides an opportunity for the Muslim faithful to come together in reflection, prayers, and thanksgiving, honoring the Prophet’s legacy of peace, compassion, and unity.

This year’s celebration promises to be a spiritually enriching occasion, with religious scholars, community leaders, and distinguished guests expected to grace the gathering. The program of events include Quranic recitations, special prayers, and insightful sermons, all focused on promoting harmony and moral values within the community.

Speaking ahead of the event, the leadership of the Ilaji Muslim Community expressed their excitement, noting, “The Moulid Nabiyy is an important tradition for us at Ilaji, and we look forward to welcoming both our local and international guests to participate in this special day of remembrance and devotion.”

The event which will start at 10.00am is open to the public, and all attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the full schedule of activities.
