Ibadan Loses Icon, Senator Alli Mourns Lamidi Ajadi’s Demise

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of a respected businessman and revered Islamic leader, the Baba Adinni of Ibadanland, Alhaji Lamidi Ajadi.

This is contained in a condolence statement issued by his Media office and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan.

Senator Alli described the late Baba Adinni as a man of deep faith, immense wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the development of Islam and humanity.

He said that Alhaji Ajadi’s demise was a great loss to the Muslim Ummah in Ibadanland, business community and all who benefitted from his philanthropy, leadership and counsel.

The lawmaker commiserated with the immediate family, the Muslim community, and the entire people of Ibadanland.

Senator Alli prayed that Almighty Allah grant the deceased Aljanah Firdaus and comfort those he left behind.

The lawmaker urged everyone to emulate the virtues of the late Baba Adinni, who lived a life of service, compassion, and dedication to the progress of society.
