The JDS Teachers’ Forum has congratulated its Grand Patron, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, on his well-deserved elevation to the prestigious title of Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, describing the honour as a fitting recognition of his remarkable contributions to humanity and enduring legacy of visionary leadership. The forum noted that the elevation not only reflects his distinguished position within the revered Olubadan Chieftaincy hierarchy but also celebrates his lifelong commitment to selfless service, philanthropy, education, youth empowerment, community development, and nation-building. As a body of education professionals, the forum expressed pride in identifying with a leader who firmly believes that education remains the foundation of societal transformation, adding that his unwavering support for teachers, students, and human capital development continues to inspire hope and shape a brighter future for generations.
The forum, in a statement issued by Comrade Williams Martins, the State Coordinator of the Forum, rejoiced with the distinguished High Chief on this historic milestone and prayed that Almighty God would bless him with greater wisdom, sound health, renewed strength, and divine guidance as he assumes the exalted position of Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland. It further prayed that, in His infinite mercy and perfect timing, God would continue to elevate and preserve him, granting him the grace to ascend the highly revered throne of the Olubadan of Ibadanland.
