‘Power’ Passes On: Tributes Pour in for Retired HLGA Chief Abimbola Ladepo

The family of the late Chief Abimbola Oladiran Ladepo, a retired Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), announces the burial programmes of their beloved father, popularly known as ‘Power’.

“As we mourn his demise, we invite the public to join us in celebrating his iconic and landmark life and legacy.”

The wake keep service will hold tomorrow, Monday, December 29, 2025, at Apex Multipurpose Hall, Agodi GRA, Ibadan.

Lying in State will take place on Tuesday, 30th December, 2025 at his residence, 90, Kola Lawal Street, Akala Road, Akobo, Ibadan between 8.00 and 9.00am. Thereafter, Church Burial Service will hold at Christ Church Mapo, Oke Dada, Ibadan South West Diocese at 10.00am prompt.

Interment follows immediately after Church Service at All Souls’ Rest Park at Adewuyi village, after Oloje, along Ologuneru/Ido Road, Ibadan.
