Oyo SWAN Pays Tribute To Late Wulemot Aweni Babalola

The Oyo State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) is saddened to announce the passing of Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola, the venerable mother of Comrade Ademola Babalola, Chairman of the Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

Mama Babalola, who passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the age of 76, was a pillar of strength and wisdom to her family.

The Oyo SWAN Chapter extends its deepest condolences to Comrade Ademola Babalola and the entire Babalola family during this difficult time.

The Association prays for God’s comfort and strength to be with the Babalola family as they bear this irreparable loss.

May Mama Babalola’s soul rest in perfect peace.
