Oyo NUJ Commiserates with Chairman, Demola Babalola over mother’s demise

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, has expressed heartfelt condolences to its esteemed Chairman, Alhaji Ademola Babalola, on the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs. Wulemotu Aweni Babalola.

This is contained in a statement by the Secretary, Sola Oladapo and made available to newsmen on Sunday.

The union described the news of Mrs Babalola’s demise as profoundly saddening, joining its chairman and his family in mourning the great loss.

The NUJ described her as a matriarch whose warmth, love, and wisdom touched the lives of many around her.

“Mrs Babalola’s life was one defined by kindness and selflessness. Her nurturing spirit and dedication to family were a source of strength to all who knew her,” the union said.

The union expressed solidarity with its Chairman and his family in this moment of grief, offering their prayers and support.
“Losing a mother is one of the deepest pains, and we pray that God grants the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

“May her memory remain a guiding light and source of comfort to all who knew and loved her,” it said.

The NUJ urged Alhaji Babalola to find solace in the countless cherished memories he shared with his mother and in the knowledge that her legacy lives on through the lives she positively impacted.

The union said that her compassion, strength, and devotion to family would forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to Alhaji Ademola Babalola and his family. May the soul of Mrs. Olaitan Babalola rest in perfect peace, and may God provide strength and comfort to all her loved ones during this difficult time,” it said.
