Senator Alli described the abduction as a painful reminder of the security challenges confronting the nation, while expressing profound gratitude to Almighty God for the successful rescue of the captives.

The lawmaker prayed fervently for the complete and speedy recovery of the victims, asking God to comfort them and restore them physically, emotionally and psychologically after their harrowing experience.

He also prayed against any recurrence of such a tragic incident in Oyo State and across Nigeria, expressing confidence that sustained collaboration among government, security agencies and citizens would further strengthen the nation’s fight against criminality.

“I thank Almighty God for sparing your lives. What happened was heartbreaking, but your rescue has brought hope to all of us.

“I pray that God grants every one of you complete healing and ensures that our state and our country never witness such an ugly incident again,” he said.

Dr Alli assured the victims and their families that he would do everything within his capacity to ensure they receive the necessary support and succour to aid their recovery and reintegration into normal life.

He commended President Bola Tinubu for his commitment to tackling insecurity and the efforts toward rescuing the abductees.

Senator Alli applauded the gallantry, professionalism and sacrifices of the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agencies who participated in the rescue operation.

The APC standard-bearer equally appreciated traditional rulers, community leaders, volunteers, stakeholders and Nigerians whose prayers, cooperation and support contributed to the successful rescue of the abductees.
