House of Reps Member, Olajide Odidiomo Congratulates Oba Ladoja at 80

Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, a serving two-term, House of Representatives member and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has felicitated with former Oyo State Governor, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his 80th birthday, praising his leadership, wisdom, and service to humanity.

A statement signed by Tolu Mustapha, Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, to the lawmaker, who represents Ibadan North-west/Ibadan South-west federal constituency of oyo state at the national assembly, said, Hon. Olajide described Oba (Sen.) Rasheed Ladoja as a “rare breed” who has made significant contributions to the political, economic and social development of Oyo State and Nigeria.

Hon. Olajide highlighted Oba Ladoja’s commitment to democratic values, his role in shaping the ideology and vision of the political landscape and his dedication to the service of humanity.

According to the lawmaker, “Oba Ladoja’s leadership and wisdom have been a source of inspiration to many and his dedication to the service of humanity is unparalleled.”

“His contributions to Oyo State and Nigeria are immeasurable and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.”

Olajide praised Ladoja’s achievements during his tenure as Governor of Oyo State, including his efforts to promote economic development, improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for citizens.

He also commended Ladoja’s role in promoting peaceful co-existence and resolving conflicts, both within and outside Oyo state which he said is an acknowledgement of his impact on Nigeria’s politics and business landscape.

The PDP chieftain expressed gratitude to Ladoja for his mentorship, guidance, invaluable wisdom and counsel having been a father figure to himself and many others who are celebrating his life and legacy as he celebrates his 80th Birthday today, he said.
