“It is an open secret that the coronation of Oba Abimbola Owoade as the 46th Alaafin of Oyo marks a significant milestone in the history of Oyo Empire”, the statement added.
The group, however, enjoined the foremost monarch not to compromise his role in promoting cultural heritage and unity among traditional rulers and the entire people across Yorubaland and beyond.
The group also charge the people of Oyo town to continue their unwavering support to Oba Owoade, which they have been displaying since the announcement of his appointment in order to drive progress and prosperity for the betterment of all.
