The Jagunmolu Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the renowned cleric and Islamic scholar, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello.

In his condolence message, Chief Sanusi described Sheikh Bello’s passing as an immeasurable loss not only to the Muslim Ummah but to humanity at large. He noted that Sheikh Bello’s lifetime of unwavering dedication to the propagation of Islam, the pursuit of peace, and the promotion of moral values has left an enduring legacy in our society.

“His sermons, filled with wisdom, courage, and guidance, were a beacon of hope to many,” Chief Sanusi remarked. “The void his departure has created is profound, as his words and actions served as a source of inspiration and direction for countless individuals across the nation and beyond.”

As we navigate this difficult time, Chief Sanusi urged everyone to reflect on Sheikh Muhideen Ajani Bello’s teachings and to uphold the values of unity, love, and compassion that he so passionately championed.

He further prayed, “May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.”

Concluding his message, Chief Sanusi acknowledged the inevitability of death, stating, “Indeed, Ikú jù wá lọ (Death surpasses all). We submit to the will of Almighty Allah, who alone gives and takes life.”
