Honourable Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu, PDP candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, has congratulated former Deputy Governor, Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi on his decisive victory in Sunday’s PDP gubernatorial primary. In a statement through her Special Assistant on Media and Strategy, Oluseye Akanmu, she described the outcome as a win for democracy, grassroots engagement, and the collective aspirations of the PDP family in Oyo State.
In her words: “His Excellency, Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi’s triumph at the primary election is a testament to his long-standing dedication to our great party, his extensive political experience, and his profound connection with the people. This victory marks the beginning of a unified march toward sustained progress and equity in Oyo State.”
BASA also expressed her deep gratitude to the people of Oyo State, with special emphasis on the executives, delegates, and loyal party faithful from the Oyo South Senatorial District, who trooped out en masse to cast their votes and secure a decisive victory for Barrister Gbolarumi.
“I am deeply moved by the incredible show of solidarity and strength from our party structures and members across the whole State. Our people did not just show up; they trooped out in overwhelming numbers to stand by a leader they trust. As the party transition into the general election campaign phase in a few months, BASA urged all party stakeholders, aspirants, and supporters to unite behind Barrister Gbolarumi to ensure a sweeping victory for the PDP across all levels in the state.
