The Akinyele Local Government Secretariat Muslim Community is set to host its 9th Annual Ramadan Lecture tomorrow, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 10:00 am within the Council premises. This year’s lecture, titled “World of The Jins,” will be delivered by renowned Islamic scholar Ustadh AbdulRahim Taiwo Fadlur Rahman.
The event will be chaired by Chief Lukman Ahmed Kayode, the Aare Musulumi of Akinyele South and CEO of Lukas Auto Motors, while Alhaja Ramotullahi Agberemi (RAD), Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, will serve as Chairperson. High Chief Monsur Abiola Arulogun will be the Royal Father of the Day.
Other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include Hon. Olafioye Akinmoyede, Member of the House of Representatives; Hon. Wole Akinleye, Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government; and Hon. Olalekan Abiola, Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly as Special Guests of Honour while Alhaji AbdulRasheed Kareem, the Chairman, League of Imams and Alfas, Akinyele Local Government will grace the occasion as Spiritual Father of the Day.
Mothers of the Day at the 9th Ramadan Lecture are Dr Ayodele Busari, HLGA, Akinyele Local Government; Dr Kafilat Hamzat, Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service, Ibarapa Zone; Alhaja Mujidat Ojewumi and Alhaja Mujidat Ojuolape, CEO, Osele Food Canteen, Moniya.
Mallam Muhammed Amao, the Chief Imam of Akinyele Local Government Secretariat Muslim Community is the Chief Host for the Ramadan Lecture with Chief Raji Kazeem, the Acting Chairman of Akinyele Local Government Secretariat Muslim Community as Host at the event.
The Chief Host, Mallam Amao last Friday during Jumah Service enjoined members of the Planning Committee under the Chairmanship of Mr Saheed Abbas and the entire members of the Muslim Community to be punctual at the important programme in order to receive and welcome the invited guests to the venue of the event.
