In another round of impactful representation and uncommon leadership, Senator Yunus Akintunde has developed a special Agricultural revolution plans for immediate implementation in Oyo Central Senatorial District.
Tagged AGRICINVEST INITIATIVE, the program which started as part of the Empowerment project he organized recently with encouraging feedback indicating tremendous impact among beneficiaries will concentrate on farming community groups and constituents who are notable farmers with emphasis on boosting food production in the various communities.
“Oyo Central Senatorial District is mostly agrarian with vast land area for agriculture, this initiative will accommodate cluster farmers who will be supported with fertilizer, improved seedlings such as yam, tomatoes, beans, maize, also farming rubber boots, hand gloves and knapsack sprayers among other tools”
“The Agric Investment Scheme will be revolutionary in design and will target mass production of food in Oyo Central Senatorial District with plans to extend the assistance to other parts of Oyo State in an effective collaboration with other stakeholders”
The AGRICVEST INITIATIVE is scheduled to hold on Monday 9th December 2024 by 9am at the Oba Adeyemi Arcade Sports centre in Oyo with members of the various Farming Groups and notable constituents who are practicing farmers as direct beneficiaries of the program irrespective of party affiliation or interest.
