Adelabu Hails President Tinubu Over Ibikunle’s Appointment to Code of Conduct Bureau

Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has congratulated Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a member of the Board of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).

The Minister also expressed appreciation to the President for finding another Oyo State indigene worthy of such appointment.

Adelabu in a statement on Wednesday by his Special Adviser, Strategic Communication and Media Relations, Bolaji Tunji, described the appointment of Ibikunle as a welcome development and a recognition of his integrity and attestation to his devotion and loyalty to the progressive cause in Oyo State.

“In his usual style, the president has identified another unique and competent individual in the person of our own Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle to the board of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB). This is a reflection of his ability and integrity, considering the role of the CCB, which is to maintain integrity within the public service and ensure compliance with ethical standards”, the Minister said.

Adelabu also noted that the new board member will bring his wealth of experience in the public service to bear in the discharge of his new responsibility on the board of CCB.

“I am confident that Alhaji Ibikunle’s stewardship in public service will prove him in good stead in this new responsibility.

“I am also sure that the experience and dedication that the new appointee has displayed over the years in public service will undoubtedly add value towards the discharge of their responsibilities on the board of CCB. I hope you will see this as another opportunity to serve the country”, the Minister concluded.
