Chief Iyiola Oladokun, former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, has announced the passing of his mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Alice Idowu Oladokun, who died peacefully at the age of 101 on Saturday, 7 January, 2026.
This is contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Sunday.
Mama Alice Oladokun’s legacy is one of strength and resilience, having lived a full life and touched the hearts of many. Her family and loved ones will surely miss her dearly.
Chief Oladokun, a prominent chieftain and leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State further disclosed that the family will announce the funeral arrangements as soon as possible.
