Oke-Alaro Muslim Community in Oluyole Extension area of Ibadan is set to host the Grand Chief Imam of Ogbomoso, Sheikh Yunus Teliat Ayilara as Guest Speaker at her public Ramadan Lecture titled, ‘Spending In The Cause of Allah’ today, Saturday, 15 March, 2025 at 10.00am.
The event, which will hold at Oke-Alaro Muslim Community Medical Center, Irepodun Estate (Ajanla), Off New Garage/Apata Express Way (Alao Akala Express) under the Chairmanship of Barrister Samsudeen Odekunle and Alhaji AbdulGafar (Ten Ten) while Alhaja Hanatullah Olawoyin will serve as Chairperson.
According to a release issued by Alhaji Kunle Kareem in Ibadan on Friday and made available to newsmen, other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include Alhaji Abdulwaheed Olaitan and Alhaji Abdulrahman Olatunde as Fathers of the Day while Alhaja Falilat Balogun and Alhaja Kudirat Olofa will serve as Mothers of the Day with Chief Odunade Ademola, the Asiwaju Olubadan of Ibadanland as Royal Father of the Day.
Eminent personalities which include Alhaji Kunle Hammed will serve as Co-Chairman on the occasion while Professors Tunji Babatunde, Salihu Adelabu and Dr Adewale Olatunbosun will grace the occasion as Special Guests of Honour as well as other prominent personalities from different part of the country.
Barrister Yusuf Anikulapo, the Chairman of Oke-Alaro Muslim Community is the Chief Host for the Ramadan Lecture with Sheikh Imam Zakariyah Akeula, the Chief Imam of Oke-Alaro Muslim Community as co-host of the event.
Barrister Yusuf Anikulapo enjoined members of the Executive Council and that of the Planning Committee as well as Zonal representatives to be punctual in order to receive and welcome invited guests and other members of the public to the event.
Barrister Anikulapo, however, assured those that are coming for the lecture of adequate security.
In his words: “Both conventional and non-conventional security personnel have been engaged to ensure security of lives and properties”, he added.
