The Archbishop of Ibadan Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, His Grace Most Rev. Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe, has charged newly collated Archdeacon Rev. Canon Dr. Moses Oyekunle Sowale and the newly installed Statutory Canons to live with accountability, reminding them they will answer to God Almighty for their stewardship on earth and beyond. The charge was delivered on Sunday during a well-attended collation and installation service at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Aremo, Ibadan, according to a press release signed by Ibadan North Anglican Diocesan Communicator, Chief Ayoade Solomon Olugbemiga.
During the collation and installation service presided over by Archbishop Aladekugbe at the well attended by people within and outside Nigeria , the preferred Archdeacon and Canons made declaration and oaths to accept and unfeignedly believe all the Canonical Scripture of the Old and New Testament as given by inspiration of God, confessed never been homosexual or bi -sexual, denouncing membership of any secret society or cult and vowed not to indulge in the practice of the the activities mentioned above

The Minister prayed the Almighty God to mercifully behold the newly preferred priests and replenish them with truth, innocency of life that they may faithfully Serve God and promote the edification of the church
In his sermon during the service, the Guest Preacher, Very Rev.Johnson Olusegun Faleye, the Provost of the Cathedral of St James’ The Great, Oke Bola, Ibadan enjoined the collated Archdeacon and installed Canons not to disappoint the heaven and the authority that collated and installed them
In his words,” Faithfulness is a requirement from God which should neither be sacrificed nor compromised but should be a goal of all ministers both old and new”, the preacher concluded
The newly collated Archdeacon is Rev Canon ( Dr ) Moses Oyekunle Sowale, while Canons David Olaoluwa Afolabi, Philip Dare Mejabi,John Akinlolu Akinkuade and Lawrence Ayodele Oluwatade were installed as Statutory Canons
