Oyo Disability Association Declares Unrelenting Support for Dotun Sanusi’s Gubernatorial Ambition

The Oyo State chapter of the National Association for Persons with Disability (JONAPWD) has officially declared their total and unrelenting support for Chief Dotun Sanusi’s gubernatorial movement ahead of the 2027 general election.

The association made the declaration in Ibadan on Thursday after a successful dinner and interactive session with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, in recognition of his unwavering dedication to the welfare of persons with disabilities and humanity at large.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Evangelist Olukoya JP, a pioneer advocate for persons with disabilities for over 30 years, praised Chief Sanusi’s exceptional commitment to the disabled community.

He noted that Chief Sanusi’s support is unparalleled, stating: “In all my years of advocating for persons with disabilities, I have never seen someone so genuinely dedicated to our cause like Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi.

“His vision and compassion reflect the faithful governance we currently enjoy under Governor Seyi Makinde, and we are confident that this will continue when he assumes office in 2027,” he added.

Mr. Ajibade Oluwayemisi, the convener and Coordinator of JONAPWD’s Ona Ara Chapter, also commended Chief Sanusi for his ongoing efforts to uplift and empower the disabled community.

He emphasized the vital role Chief Sanusi plays in ensuring that persons with disabilities receive adequate care and support, highlighting his long-standing dedication to social justice.

Mr. Oluwayemisi further extended his gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS, for his tireless efforts in providing empowerment programs for the disabled, particularly during the commemoration of his 100 days in office.

In his words: “this dinner underscores the firm belief of the disability community in Chief Dotun Sanusi’s leadership and the bright future he envisions for Oyo State, promising a continuation of compassionate governance and inclusivity come 2027”, he concluded.
