Hon. Akintayo Flags Off Life-changing Medical Initiative for Residents

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has launched the Mobile Clinic Project, a four-day initiative aimed at providing free healthcare services to residents across the 12 wards of the local government. The programme features comprehensive medical screening and tests for women aged 30 to 60 years and men aged 40 years and above, aligning with the Free Medical Mission of the Oyo State government under Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership.

Declaring the programme open, Hon. Akintayo stated that the grassroots medical initiative aligns with the Free Medical Mission of the present administration in Oyo State, under the visionary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.

According to a release issued by Ikeoye Oyetoro, head of Information Unit and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the Council boss reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to complementing the governor’s efforts by ensuring continuous delivery of democratic dividends to the people of Ibadan North East through strategic health and welfare programmes.

Speaking at the event, the Director of Primary Health Care of the Council, Dr. Kunle Adedoyin, urged residents to take advantage of the opportunity to improve their health and well-being.

He further explained that the results of the medical tests conducted would guide the appropriate treatment for the beneficiaries.

In attendance were Directors of various Departments in the Local Government, led by the Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs. Omolara Aremu, among other dignitaries.
