Hijrah 1448 AH: Alaran Calls For Unity, Prayers For National Progress, Safe Return of Abducted Pupils

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Hon. Saheed Adejare Yusuf Alaran, has felicitated Muslim faithful, traditional rulers, community leaders, Chief Imams, Islamic scholars, APC leaders and members across the four local government areas and Oyo State on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448AH. In his goodwill message, he described the sacred occasion as a timely reminder of the enduring virtues of faith, sacrifice, perseverance and selfless service to humanity, urging Muslims to draw inspiration from the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by embracing peace, unity, tolerance, compassion and righteousness in their daily lives.

Hon. Alaran further called on Muslims and all residents of the constituency to seize the spiritual significance of Hijrah 1448AH to offer sincere prayers for Nigeria and Oyo State, while seeking Allah’s divine wisdom, strength and guidance for the nation’s leaders, especially President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He expressed optimism that with sustained prayers and collective support, government policies and reforms would continue to yield meaningful progress, enhance the welfare of citizens and accelerate national development.

Hon. Alaran also appealed to the Muslim Ummah to remember in their prayers the pupils and teachers recently abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area. He urged the faithful to seek Allah’s intervention for their safe and speedy release, as well as their reunion with their families in good health and high spirits.

He further prayed that Allah grants comfort, strength and patience to the affected families and communities during this trying period, while restoring lasting peace and security to the area and the state as a whole.

Expressing confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration, Alaran noted that continued prayers and support from citizens would further strengthen government efforts to deliver sustainable development and democratic dividends across the country.

Hon. Alaran, however, called on party faithful and supporters to pray for the success of the APC and its candidates in future elections, stressing the need for unity, commitment and collective action in advancing the party’s vision for progress and good governance.

In his words: “As we celebrate Hijrah 1448AH, let us continue to seek Allah’s guidance for our leaders, pray for the safe return of the abducted pupils and teachers, support their families through our prayers, and work together for peace, progress and a brighter future. May this new Islamic year bring abundant blessings, prosperity, good health and renewed hope to all our people,” he added.

He finally wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous and spiritually rewarding Hijrah 1448AH celebration, praying that Allah accepts their supplications and grants Nigeria enduring peace, stability and prosperity.
