The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community in Egbeda Local Government and Oyo State at large on the occasion of Maolud Nabiyy, the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In a statement released by his office, Hon. Sanda expressed his heartfelt wishes to the Muslim Ummah, praying that they witness many more years of peace, prosperity, and blessings on the land of the living.
The Council boss urged the faithful to continue to emulate the teachings and virtues of the Holy Prophet, which emphasize love, compassion, and service to humanity.
In his words: “On behalf of the people of Egbeda Local Government and the entire ALGON family in Oyo State, I wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters a happy and blessed Maolud Nabiyy. May this special day bring us closer to the teachings of the Holy Prophet and may we all witness more of it in good health and prosperity, ln Sha Allah biqudratullah.”
According to him, the celebration of Maolid Nabiyy is a significant event in the Islamic calendar, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his message of love, peace, and redemption.
