With the Oyo APC Governorship Primary Election approaching, frontline aspirant Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem, AKK, has officially declared his full support for Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli. Following a strategic meeting with party stakeholders and leaders, AKK said the decision is aimed at uniting the progressive family and securing victory for the APC and the people of Oyo State.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by Opeyemi Ayanrinde, AKK’s Director of Media and Publicity and made available to newsmen shortly after a crucial meeting with APC stakeholders and leaders.
He declared openly that, it’s all about progress and way forward for the progressive party and the good people of Oyo State.
“Our alignment with Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli ahead Oyo APC Governorship Primary Election is to secure a safe landing for the party after a very long waiting for the progressive family in Oyo State, Oyo APC has been sideline and out of power for good 7yrs, and the time is now to reclaim back the power and way to Oyo State Government house”
“Collective efforts, experience and orientation is all we need at this stage, together we can achieve the success, after the wide consultation across the length and breadth of political axis both in the state and national, there is no reason for us to go against the wish and decision of the party. We are fully ready to align with the system and existing structures, we are ready to put in all our structures and strength across the 33 local government in Oyo State,” the statement added.
According to Ayanrinde, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem AKK, believes in the decision of the party and progressive structure, as far the vision, focus, plan and agenda of Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli is almost the same as the 20 agenda of the book “Our Realistic Tomorrow, we run the same vision and dream with him, so nothing bad in the decision ahead the primary election.
