Oke-Ogun APC Leaders Reaffirm Loyalty to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

The Oke-Ogun Leaders Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday unanimously reaffirmed their unwavering support and loyalty to President Bola Tinubu’s administration and his ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda.

They made this declaration at a high-level strategic meeting held at the residence of party leader and former Deputy Governor, Chief Iyiola Oladokun, at Ado-Awaye in Iseyin Local Government area of Oyo State.

The gathering of core progressive leaders from every local government in Oke-Ogun axis greatly commended President Tinubu’s excellent performance through his laudable economic reforms and fantastic policies within two and a half years of his administration.

The meeting which was conveyed by the party leader, Chief Iyiola Oladokun, gathered core progressive leaders from every local government in Oke-Ogun axis to assess party performance, address grassroots challenges, and chart a unified roadmap ahead of forthcoming party congresses and general elections.

In his opening remarks, Chief Oladokun expressed deep appreciation to all attendees for their steadfast loyalty and urged members shun divisive tendencies.

“We are an indivisible party and must remain committed to its core principles,” he stated.

According to him, unity is fundamental as the APC prepares for party congresses at various levels.

In the course of discussion, members from the region submitted reports of their local governments and requested the party stakeholders’ attention to help resolve areas where there are issues.

Responding to some of the issues raised at the meeting, the leader of the party, Chief Oladokun assured other leaders present that the issues would be tabled before the leaders of the party at the national level.

Speaking at the meeting, retired Colonel Gbenga Adegbola, one of the governorship aspirants, appealed for collective cooperation to secure the next governor in Oyo State on the platform of APC.

Present at the meeting included Hon. Abubakre Gbadamosi, former TESCOM Chairman; Hon. Isiaka Obe, former Chairman of Kajola Local Government; Hon. Hosea Oladosu, represented Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola, former Senate Deputy Chief Whip; Alhaji Bolaji Kareem, a former Commissioner; Hon. Dauda Wasiu Oladimeji, former Commissioner for Works; Chief Goke Oyetunji, former Senatorial Chairman; Alhaji Razaq Raji, Hon. Amusat Ogunsola, Hon. Dele Akinleye, former SSA on Political Matters among others.
