
Ẹgbẹ́ Ọmọ Ìbílẹ̀ Òkehò has resolved the recent conflict surrounding the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Òkehò (FUNATO), Prof. Jacob Babayemi.
This is contained in a communique issued at the end of the stakeholders’ conflict -resolution meeting convened by Egbe Omo Ibile Okeho on the petition against the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO).

According to the communique, after a thorough investigation, the community leaders have expressed confidence in the Vice-Chancellor’s leadership and cleared him of allegations of religious bigotry and favouritism.
The stakeholders’ meeting, attended by respected leaders of Christianity and Islam, youth leaders, elders, and other well-meaning sons and daughters of Òkehò, emphasized the importance of dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflicts.
The meeting also discouraged the use of social media for ventilating grievances or resolving conflicts related to FUNATO or community affairs.
Ẹgbẹ́ Ọmọ Ìbílẹ̀ Òkehò has pledged to collaborate with individuals, groups, and associations to protect and promote FUNATO as a critical asset to Òkehò land and Òkè-Ogun
