Senator Buhari Urges Nigerians To Support Tinubu’s Reforms, Emphasizes Unity

Nigerians have been called upon to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s policies aimed at transforming the nation’s economy, which is already showing promising signs of improvement, with food prices dropping. Senator Fatai Buhari, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Aviation, also urged citizens to pray fervently for political leaders at all levels of government, seeking divine strength and wisdom for them to excel.

Senator Fatai Buhari, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Aviation, recently gave this charge in Ibadan during a courtesy visit by former Councilors from late Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s tenure, representing all geo-political zones in the state. He assured the Councilors of his commitment to the welfare of party faithfuls, encouraging them to continue their support for the party’s betterment.

He also enjoined APC members across the state to maintain peace and unity to avoid past mistakes that led to the party’s failure in the 2019 and 2023 general elections in Oyo State.

Dr. Buhari assured the Councilors of his commitment to welfare of party faithfuls in order to encourage them to continue their unwavering support for the betterment of the party.

He further appealed to the Councilors not to be deceived by hypocrites who are out to dubiously get to power at all cost.

“Sincerely, I am one of you, and I’m not going to disappoint you in my dealings with you, whatever the situation,” he stated.

Dr. Buhari, however, praised the former First Lady, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi for holding the political homefront firmly and fervently prayed for good health for her to continue the good work.

Earlier in his opening remarks, Hon. Dauda Oladimeji, popularly known as Azuzu, a former Commissioner for Environment, described Senator Fatai Buhari as a very frank, sincere and highly courageous.

According to him, ” his good character, humility, generousity, and finally, his laudable empowerment programmes is second to none,” he added.

In their separate remarks during the visit, Nurudeen Aderibigbe, Kazeem Alimi, Kemi Shitu and Ganiyu Rasaq Adekunle from Oyo West, Ona-Ara, and Akinyele local governments respectfully enjoined Senator Buhari to continue his good work in the areas of law making and laudable empowerment programmes across Oyo North Senatorial District.

In attendance were Mogaji Agoro, Barrister Abdulwaheed Lawal, Mr Toyese Ishola among others.
