OYSCOHEST Gets Commendation From PCN Accreditation Team

The Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology played host to the Accreditation Team of Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), led by Pharmacist Gbenga Lasekan, the Director of Pharmaceutical Services Ministry of Health, Ondo State who were at the College for the professional re-accreditation exercise of the Pharmacy Technicians’ course, one of the nineteen (19) courses run by the College.

During the exit meeting with the College Management, the Team Lead, Pharmacist Gbenga Lasekan commended the Management of the College, led by Pharmacist Oluyemisi Oyewo for maintaining an excellent standard of training, in compliance with the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council.

While speaking with a reporter after the exercise, the Team Lead on behalf of the Accreditation Team, expressed deep satisfaction with the high level of improvement in facilities, equipment and staffing, compared with what was noted during the last accreditation exercise, five years ago.

The Team Lead , further implored the Provost to maintain the high standard, noting that the institution should improve on the dispensing laboratory space, to accommodate a possible increase in the students’ quota.
