Sheikh Muhydeen Bello: A Rare Gift To Islamic Ummah – Senator Buhari

The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. AbdulFatai Buhari has described the renowned Islamic Schorlar, Sheikh Muhydeen Bello as a rare gift to Islamic Ummah in Yorubaland and Nigeria at large.

Senator Buhari gave this commendation in Lagos on Sunday during the installation of Sheikh Muhydeen Bello as the Sultan Waaizeen by the Council of Islamic Preachers in Yorubaland.

Dr. Buhari, who was represented at the ceremony by Barr. AbdulWaheed Olatunde Lawal, enjoined all Islamic Preachers to unite and cooperate with him in order to continue to give quality and impactful admonitions that will make life much better and to earn the pleasure of Allah.

In his words, “It’s a great pleasure to be at this epoch making event where an Islamic celebrity and an erudite Islamic Schorlar is being appreciated and celebrated in his life time. I congratulate my father, popularly called, ‘Oni Waasi Agbaye’ and I pray to Allah to grant him many more years of active service in the cause of Allah and in spreading the benefits of his knowledge and experience in life to the whole world”

Senator Buhari, however, urged the leadership and members of the Council of Islamic Preachers in Yorubaland to continue the good work for the betterment of Islamic Ummah in Nigeria.
