Senator Akintunde Felicitates With Christians on Xmas, Enjoins on Love and Kindness to Humanity

In the spirit of the festive season, Senator Yunus Akintunde has extended felicitations to all Christian faithful in the celebration of Christmas marking the birth of Christ.

In a statement released to the media through Kunle Olatunji the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senator Akintunde, he further enjoined on the need to ensure the prevalence of love and kindness towards humanity.

“I share in the joy of the celebration of Christmas with our brothers and sisters while I like to emphasize that we must not lose the symbolic spirit of love which is the essence of Christ birth to humanity”.

“Our daily interactions and commitment to each other must reflect the teachings of Christ on love at all times”.

“I use this opportunity to pray for divine guidance, prosperity and benevolence of Almighty God as we celebrate together during this festive season especially as we approach the year ahead with greater hopes and pleasant expectations as a Nation”.

“I wish you all a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance”.
