According to Mrs. Oyeyemi Ojo, Permanent Secretary/Inspector General of Education, Ibadan zone 2, who spoke on behalf of the Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, this charitable act is an annual tradition for the forum. They aim to celebrate Governor Makinde’s birthday by giving back to the less privileged, particularly during the yuletide season.

She said “we are here on behalf of the Head of Service to donate food items and to mark the birthday of Governor Seyi Makinde, this is how we do it every year to celebrate the birthday of the performing Governor of the Pacesetter State”.

The Head of Service charged Civil Servants in the State to remember the less privileged in their environment and other people that were in need at the yuletide period.

Mrs Olubunmi Oni also admonished them to celebrate Christmas with moderation and maintain peace and order while celebrating.

Responding, the Matron of the Home, Mrs Aderinola Oke appreciated the Forum for remembering their homes as part of the activities to mark Governor Seyi Makinde ‘s Birthday .
