Ex-NUJ Chairman’s Father Dies

The death of Pa Mudathir Oladepo Akinreti, Father of Dr. Qasim Akinreti, former Chairman of NUJ, Lagos State Council, 2017-2020, Deputy Director Digital Media Voice of Nigeria has been announced.

Late Pa Akinreti was a road transport businessman for over 40 years and former Treasurer National Union of Road Transport Workers, Agodi Gate branch Ibadan, Oyo state.

He was a politician in the first Republic, under the umbrella of United Nigeria Democratic Party(Popularly called Demo) of Late Ladoke Akintola.

He died in his sleep at his Ile Ife home and buried in accordance with the Islamic rites.

A devoted member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat of Nigeria, survived by 13 children, led by Mrs Fatimah Haruna of the Ogun state Cooperative Federation, Headquarters in Abeokuta, and grandchildren.
