ALGON Chairman Promises More Developmental Projects, Commends Governor Makinde

The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government area of Oyo State, Hon. Sikiru Sanda who is also the State Chairman of ALGON has assured the people of his Council to expect more people oriented developmental projects after his re-election at the forthcoming Local Government Election.

Hon. Sanda gave this assurance in Ibadan during a live radio programme titled ‘Ijoba Ibile’ on Splash 105.5 FM, anchored by Abiodun Adewole (Double A) and monitored by Springstar Magazine on Saturday.

Highlighting his achievements within the last three years, the Council boss disclosed he executed close to forty developmental projects in the area of education, road network, health, security, infrastructures such as provision of motorized boreholes, transformers and others across the eleven political Wards of the Council.

Hon. Sanda specially expressed his deep gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde whom he described as his mentor and leader for his support to all the serving Local Government Chairmen in the State which enable them to execute various people oriented developmental projects in their respective Councils.

He greatly commended Governor Makinde on his unprecedented and landmark achievements in various infrastructural projects such as road network, agriculture, education, healthcare delivery across the state which greatly transform Oyo State beyond expectation.

When asked to predict the result of the April 27 Local Government Election in Egbeda, he confidently replied that he would beat candidates of other political parties in all the Eleven Wards of the Council area by the grace of God.

Hon. Sanda thereafter expressed his profound appreciation to his political leaders as well as all the stakeholders in Egbeda Local Government for their support since assumption of office.

He therefore enjoined them to continue their support and maintain the existing cordial relationship with his administration in order to encourage him to execute more projects for the betterment of the populace.

Hon. Sanda warmly congratulate Christians in Egbeda Local Government and Oyo State at large on this year’s Easter and wishes them wonderful and joyous celebration.
