Senator Alli condoles with former Gov Bisi Akande over Son-in-law’s death

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Ibadan, former Gov. Bisi Akande, over the passing of his son-in-law, Barrister Oyedele Clement Akintola.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Ibadan.

Senator Alli described the late Akintola as a dedicated legal practitioner who contributed significantly to the legal profession.

“Barrister Akintola was a beacon of integrity and professionalism. His demise at the age of 60 is a great loss not only to his family but to the entire legal community,” Alli stated.

The lawmaker extended deepest sympathies to Chief Akande and his family during this difficult time.

He acknowledged the close bond shared between Chief Akande and his son-in-law, stressing the profound impact of such a loss.

“I cannot fathom the pain that comes with losing a loved one, especially someone who has been an integral part of the family for so many years. My prayers are with Chief Akande and his family,” he added.

Senator Alli offered words of comfort to Bolaji, the daughter of Chief Akande who is the wife of the deceased.

The lawmaker urged her to find strength in the cherished memories and the love that surrounded their family.

“May the memories of your beloved husband bring you solace and may the support of family and friends give you the strength to navigate through this period of grief,” he said.

He called for prayers for the repose of the soul of Barrister Akintola and for divine strength for the Akande family.

“Let us all remember Barrister Akintola in our prayers and ask for God’s grace to sustain his family through this irreparable loss,” he concluded.
